Latawnya the Naughty Horse Learns to Say "No" to Drugs
I found this on the Awful Library Books blog. This is quite possibly their greatest post ever, along with Don't Make Me Go Back Mommy: A Child's Book About Satanic Ritual Abuse.

I think I'd seen this before, but forgotten exactly how mind-bendingly awful and hilarious it is. Maybe the weirdest part - WTF is going on with the racial dynamics here? Latawnya and Latoya vs. Krystal and Angie? And what's with the noise in the bushes that never factors into the plot? Also: awesome that she reminds us of all the characters' names on the final page.
According to Wikipedia the book was aimed at black children. If that explains anything.
